Job description
Ÿ  The mission of the ECM Sales Manager is to beat the full year ECM sales budget by improving the productivity of the ECM sales organization and by generating large software license sales.
Ÿ  The ECM sales manager will pro-actively manage sales engagements, developing and executing successful sales campaigns and transferring ECM solution selling best practices to the local team (especially client line of business executive engagement, business justification and enterprise-level selling). The sales manager should have a track record of successful ECM solution sales.
Ÿ   Delivering quarterly revenue in line with the ECM GCG budget
Ÿ   Participating in weekly and where required daily updates of the business, including maintaining accurate forecasts (weekly) of the business to the AP ECM lead
Ÿ   Hiring ECM sales headcount to plan
Ÿ   Building a vibrant business partner/reseller network by working closely with the channels team
Ÿ   Leading the ECM team on the use of the ECM sales methodology for sales transactions.
Ÿ   Coaching/mentoring newer ECM sales specialists in ECM solution selling best practices
Ÿ   Developing successful sales strategies focusing on engaging with line of business executives
Ÿ   Work effectively with the broader IBM team in selling ECM solution, especially the GBS and SEI teams
Ÿ   Developing and delivering a compelling business case to the client
Ÿ   Through mentoring on specific transactions, help the sales team improve the self-sufficiency and capability of the ECM sales team
Ÿ   Develop and maintain strong internal IBM and external business relationships and work effectively with the IBM team to progress and close selected key transactions
Ÿ   Be familiar with internal IBM resources and external ECM solutions and services partners and leverage them as appropriate.
Ÿ   Where appropriate escalate for help requests to AP / GMU and or WW management for help requests – eg special bids, resource requests etc.

Required
Implement Consultative Selling (5 years, preferred)Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in Sell ECM products or solution.
Sales Management ( At least 5 years)
English: Fluent
Chinese simplified: Fluent
