This position performs in a role in the following disciplines:
Field Communications Leader:
leading a team of four to develop and execute field enablement strategy, lead cross team projects together with Marketing Managers and sales leaders, and cultivate young talents to execute effective program to enable sellers for achieving GCG business growth target. The leader will also need to play as a GCG regional leader role managing the greater China Field Enablement team supervise the execution effectiveness for program developed by team members.
Project management:
lead references and Sales Initiative project across entire M&C organization to drive Marketing Manager contributing to the overall success of references and enablement projects
The key responsobilities of this position include:
--Lead the virtual GCG Field enablement team and develop talents to achieve success
--Strengthen the function’s capability with new skills, methods and tools
--Lead cross brand seller enablement of Smarter Planet, including the quarterly cross brand plays, industry sales plays, Opportunity Workshops
--Development of field enablement plans that align to country-specific cross brand plays;
--Build strong relationships with adjacent functions, such as sales operations, HR, which may be engaged in related enablement activities;
--Collaborate with business and M&C functions especially local demand programs teams to define priorities quarterly;
--Identify subject matter experts or training of local subject matter experts required to support the broad range of growth initiatives
--Clearly communicate and drive programs within target sales communities;
--Facilitate workshops for sellers when required .
--Understand IBM’s values, how these relate to the field and to the client, and embed them into the enablement plan.
--Record and measure appropriate metrics for driving field enablement programs;
--Develop deep understanding of the business, knowledge of marketplace issues, and challenges facing IBM sellers.
Skills & Experience required:
--Strong management and leadership skill and experiences
--Strong project management experiences
--Good Chinese and English written and oral communications skills
--Strong presentation/ facilitation skills
--Ability to assist in fostering culture change
--Deep understanding the different seller types within IBM, and an appreciation of the different routes and message delivery vehicles that can be used to reach them
--Experience in proactively identifying communications opportunities -- both internal and external -- and executing supporting programs
--Knowledge of internal communications tools and processes, including web, new media, social networking, etc.
--Understanding of sector marketing and brand enablement
--Ability to collaborate across functions and internal business units
--Program and project management experience
--Experience with internal communications tools and processes
