Job Description
- Provide IBM Power System (50% on System i) pre-sales technical support to GB sales team.
- Support Power System (System i/p) business growth from technical side
- Team with sales to show IBM’s advantage and value on Power System (System i/p) to customer
- Design Power System based IT infrastructure solution and present to customer
- Support business partners in technical pre-sales, solution design, recommending best practices
- Evangelizing Power system value solutions incorporating the latest and advanced IBM technologies to customer
- Conduct demo and testing to show IBM strength if need
Required Skills
- 5+ years experience in developing technical solutions for IT infrastructure projects, especially for the experience on IBM System i(iSeries/AS400), has knowledge and experiences in IBM i/OS(OS/400) related Hardware/Software and HADR technology.
- It is good to plus UNIX product knowledge and experiences, like IBM Power/HP/Fujisu server.
- Good understand of IT hot trends like virtualization & cloud solution, IT service automation
- Acquired sales techniques for competitive business
- Hands-on skill and experience on System i and storage is a plus
- A good team player with excellent communication skill, presentation skill
- Quick learner and self-motivated
- Rich customer facing experience and skills
Required
• At least 5 years experience in IBM System i(iSeries/AS400), has knowledge and experiences in IBM i/OS(OS/400) related Hardware/Software and HADR technology
• Bachelor's Degree, Preferred Master's Degree
• English: Fluent
• Chinese simplified: Fluent
