Information Agenda is one of the core pillars of the Smarter Planet initiative and also a key enabler to grow our software and consulting business, expanding our reach within clients while providing business solutions and tailored road maps.

Information Agenda consultants are aligned by major focused industries. This search is focused on the industries covered by COMM Sector especially focussed on Telecom industry. The candidate must have a demonstratable track record and specific industry experience to be successful in this role.

A successful candidate has to be passionate for the burgeoning Information Management market and be able to individually and collectively (with IBM cross brand experts) serve as a driving force behind the communication and advancement of the IBM 'Information Agenda.' as a way to position and penetrate new areas of the business of our clients, as well as new markets.

There will be a tight interaction with Global Business Services, the Industry Software Sales, Frameworks and BPM teams. Actual relationships or experience in these areas are key factors to consider during the selection.

Also, there will be a permanent interaction with Information Management Sales Teams, Technical Sales, Marketing and BAO Consultants, thus actual networking or experience in these areas are considered relevant during the selection.

The ideal candidate must have a successful track record of selling complex solutions to LOB in clients in their respective industries, and have demonstrated their ability to work well within the IBM matrix structure.

The role requires domestic and international travel. Candidates will be expected to sell to Global companies as well as work with International IBM teams in multicultural environments.

Additional languages skills and international living/managing experiences are positive factors on selection 
 
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in Solution sales experience
English: Fluent
