Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for
Developing and managing the ILOG solution-led business relationship between IBM and its large clients in <>, acting as a trusted business advisor and providing solutions to their business needs.
Maintaining a thorough understanding of assigned industry segment, identifying opportunities, leading cross functional sales teams and utilizing appropriate routes to market which align with the Clients' buying patterns and maximize profitability.
Selling of ILOG products and services for the assigned industry as well as responsible for total customer satisfaction, market share, and IBM revenue within their client base.
Prioritising sales engagements into clients within the selected industry based on expected revenue return and other key qualification criteria
Acting as ILOG China focal point for the industry, developing and executing sales initiatives to improve ILOG performance in that industry
Serving as the ILOG industry sales leader for ILOG China Sellers by analyzing the industry pipeline and financial results across the GMT to identify potential issues and work with local sales leaders to develop and execute targeted sales initiative to improve results.
Actively manage a viable pipeline of opportunities and client engagements to ensure delivery of quarterly revenue objectives.
Accurately forecast expected business results.
Leading the sales team on critical sales opportunities, driving development of industry references and leading the effort to define industry education requirements for sellers to be effective in their understanding of the industries they support.

The successful candidate must have a strong client centric perspective, proven sales track record and be able to work creatively and independently in an unstructured environment across a broad range of activities. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across GTS, S&D and GBS, as well as at IMT/ GMT levels. 
 
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in software sales
English: Fluent
Chinese simplified: Fluent

We are looking for Sales Professional with strong sales background and industry skills in <> to be based in China. This individual should have prior, demonstrated strong leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively at senior management levels and be prepared to work with internal IBM sales and industry teams to position to clients integrated capabilities represented by SWG offerings, reusable software assets and consulting & delivery services.
At least 8 years in IT / Software sales with established industry skills in either Banking or Telco
